What each tier actually shares
- The Male Snail. We print it, the postal service reads it, nobody else sees it. You’re never paired with anyone.
- The Male Snail Mafia and The Snail Mail Don. One other member gets your name and address every month, printed on an envelope we address for you.
- A Don sponsoring your upgrade gets a card with your first name and which city and state you’re in. He never gets a street, and he never learns anything else about the member he paid for.
What is never shared, on any tier, for any reason: your email, your phone number, and anything you wrote to us or to another member.
You can turn it off, and it doesn’t cancel you
The Mafia and the Don are the letter swap, so you agree to it when you join. Turn it off later from your account and you move to The Male Snail tier at the next issue, keeping the letter, the made thing and the recipe.
Gifts
If somebody gave you this, there’s a QR code printed inside every envelope, and it’s how you claim the subscription and add an email. Once you’ve claimed it, everything on this page is yours to change. Your address isn’t paired with anyone until issue two either way, so you have a full month before anything moves. The person who bought it is never told what you chose.
Getting rid of it
